Whom we help

The Civitan Club of Oakville focuses its support on Oakville's not-for-profit organizations providing assistance to those in our community with the greatest needs. Often our funding is directed to associations and charities which do not otherwise receive significant support. The Club typically donates about $ 40,000 annually.

Past Fundraising Events

  • Classical Music "Candlelight & Wine" Concerts (Hamilton Philharmonic conducted by Boris Brott) 500 - 1,100 guests
  • The Civitan Club was once awarded exclusive rights/proceeds to sell the program at the annual Canadian Open golf tournament at Glen Abbey
  • Car washes, Christmas tree sales, Dance-a-thons, candy boxes etc.
